Lovat Dagger
Re-creation of an extremely rare Lovat Dagger. Simon Fraser, 15th Lord Lovat and one of the first ever British Commandos, had a small number of these specially made by Wilkinson Sword Co. It is stated that only 5 original examples are known to exist today.
Smaller and lighter than a Fairbairn-Sykes knife, it has a narrow 6-inch-long spear point blade. The grip and cross-guard are both aluminium.

This TEK Lovat Dagger is an exact copy of an original from the book “Clandestine Knives of World War II” by David Wm. Decker, self-published 2024. A highly recommended read as David is a very knowledgeable collector and purveyor of Fairbairn-Sykes knives.
The Lovat Dagger is a gem when it comes to fighting knives and fits extremely well in hand. As aluminium is such a light material, great care was taken to ensure the knife balanced correctly.
Despite the lack of knurling, the large pommel provides a solid grip. Black finish has been purposely removed, giving the handle a partial patina. The sheath is crafted in-house using locally tanned premium leather from Melbourne.
